YMCA The mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all by focusing on building Strong Kids, Strong Families and Strong Communities. Experience a variety of athletic activities such as swimming, basketball, volleyball and more. Special programs such as dance and martial arts instruction, aerobic classes, swimming lessons and child care are available to both members and non-members. Financial assistance is available.

Kal-Haven Trail South Haven-Kalamazoo The Kal-Haven Trail is a 33.5 mile long linear multi-use trail that links Kalamazoo to South Haven. A former railroad bed that has been converted to a trail with a limestone/slag surface. It is usable for all non-motorized bicycles, hiking, and snowmobiling when there is a 4-inch snow base.
Kalamazoo River Valley Trail The newest Kalamazoo County Park, the 14-mile trail is free to use and has a paved-asphalt surface that is 12 feet wide. It is a multi-purpose trail for non-motorized transportation and recreation.
Bikeway System of Portage The Portage Bikeway System was implemented in 1989 and has grown to exceed 50 miles of bikeways throughout the city and its parks.
Battle Creek Linear Park A beautiful and safe trail for walking, jogging, cycling, and skating, the trail offers over 17 miles of paved pathway winding through wooded areas, open fields and parks. Educational signs along the trail describe plant, animal, cultural and historical points of interests.
Michigan Mountain Biking Association The MMBA is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit corporation. We have over 2,500 members within nine chapters throughout Michigan and are one of the largest affiliates of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA.) The mission of the MMBA is to promote responsible mountain biking and to work toward the goals of common land access and natural resource protection through interaction with policy makers, the cycling industry, race promoters, mountain bikers and other trail users. Our membership represents all levels of riders, from beginners to world champion racers. Our common passion for trail riding and stewardship brings us together as a collective voice.

OTHER East Race Waterway South Bend The first man-made white water rafting course in the country, the East Race Waterway is located in downtown South Bend. Enjoy rafting alone or with friends. All equipment is provided. Part of a multiple park system that includes playgrounds, picnic facilities, and much more.
Soccer Zone Soccer Zone's mission is to provide an outstanding recreational experience for people of all ages and skill levels. Facilities in Grand Rapids, Grand Blanc, Lansing, Portage/Oshtemo and South Bend provide instruction and league competition for both children and adults in soccer, lacrosse, dodgeball, flag football, and inline hockey.
Kingdom Sports Portage Kingdom Indoor Center is a 60,000 square foot indoor all sports facility that offers leagues and training in soccer, lacrosse, flag football, baseball, and softball for both kids and adults. All abilities are accommodated at KIC, from recreational leagues all the way up to elite! State of the art playing surfaces are soft and prevent injuries while playing like real grass surfaces.
Edwardsburg Sports Complex Our own "Field of Dreams", this project was started to ensure that area youth sports leagues would be guaranteed a place to call home well into the future. The complex features 8 full-sized soccer/football fields, 9 baseball and softball diamonds, a fitness trail, playgrounds and more. Future phases may include an ice rink, swimming pool, water features area, or an indoor fitness facility.
River Oaks County Park Galesburg River Oaks County Park features one of Southwest Michigan's premier soccer facilities with 20 fields that regularly host youth leagues, adult leagues, and regional tournaments.

Michigan Geocaching Organization Southwest Chapter MiGO's goal is to promote the sport of geocaching, an appreciation of the outdoors, and good environmental stewardship, through cooperative efforts with Michigan geocachers and land management officials.

ADVENTURE RACING If a simple 5K or a bike ride through the woods isn't enough for you, then maybe an Adventure Race is just what you need. Similar to the 'Amazing Race' reality show on TV, these 2-6 person team endurance races combine orienteering, biking, canoeing, running, challenges and more into a sport where just completing a race is often considered a victory, challenging both the mind and the body, and placing emphasis on teamwork, rather than individual achievement.
